Dr. Edward R. Fritz, DDS - Founder and Director
Dr. Fritz earned his BA at the College of Wooster in Ohio. After receiving his degree in dentistry from Case-Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, he worked as a Dental Officer at Williams Air Force Base in Arizona. In 1981, Dr. Fritz went into private practice. Chairside Dental Academy was founded in 1994.
Active in the community, Dr. Fritz has served on the Advisory Board of Sunshine Acres Children's Home for many years. Dr. Fritz is also a past member of both the Mesa Optimists Club and the Elks.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Fritz enjoys movies, tennis, martial arts, oriental food, classical piano, and most of all, spending time with his son, Mason.
Dolores - Instructor
Hello, my name is Dolores, I am an Arizona native from Springerville who has been in the dental field since 1992 , having graduated from Apollo College in 1992.
I have been an instructor with Chairside Dental Academy since 2003. I have a zest for teaching and enjoy helping students enter the dental field with any help that I can give. I enjoy traveling, scrapbooking, spending time with my husband and daugther Bella and our puppies.
Tammy - Instructor
Tammy is one of our new instructors. She has been in the dental field for nearly 30 years. She is originally from Iowa and that is where she received her dental assisting education
from Western Iowa Tech Community College/ 12 month program in which she graduated from
in 1979. She loves what she does, both working with dental patients and the relationships
she forms with the students. Tammy has taught dental assisting in the past and is happy
to be a part of our program. She has been married 25 years to her husband Bud and has 2
grown sons Bryce age 20 and Ross age 25.
Tammy enjoys spending time with her twin baby nephews and their older brother age 6. The northern parts of our state is where you will find her helping her husband with his passion of scenic photography, exploring and enjoying nature together is what they both enjoy the most.
